Thanks to everyone who helped us put this collection of music together. Ken Schubert kept his ear on the track and engineered us towards the final version of these songs as they unfolded in the studio. Josh Howell came in and opened up three of the songs on this recording with his rhythm magic. Mary Artz stepped off the stage and into the studio to add her voice and inspiration to the project. Kevin Mattingly kept focused on the camerawork. Randy Alderson caught a glimpse of the future when he shot the back cover photo in the 70’s.


This CD was digitally recorded and mastered at Cue Studios in Falls Church, Virginia. Brad and Kevin exclusively play Martin Guitars. This project was recorded with Brad’s D-41 and Kevin’s D-28 guitars into a 1958 AKG C-24 Stereo Tube mic and a Neumann M-149 Tube mic.

Self titled Debut CD with 20 original songs features all original compositions and demonstrates their variety of styles in a recording which captures the essence of their live performance. The songs Sunrise, Spanish Fly, Three a.m., and The Beaten Track were actually recorded live in the studio. Several of the songs on this recording received awards in the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest for Folk, Instrumental, and Adult Contemporary categories taking finalist, semi-finalist, and honorable mention honors.
